12 March 2008 Tereza Bílková joins the team

In March 2008 Mgr. Tereza Bílková joined the law office CÍSAŘ, ČEŠKA, SMUTNÝ a spol. as a new junior lawyer. She graduated from the Masaryk University in Brno and has been a junior lawyer since 2007. Tereza specializes in commercial law, civil law and labour law.profil

11 March 2008 Milan Houžvička joins the team

In March 2008 JUDr. Milan Houžvička became a new member of the team of junior lawyers of the law office CÍSAŘ, ČEŠKA, SMUTNÝ a spol.. Milan Houžvička was employed, inter alia, as an in-house lawyer by Česká námořní plavba, a.s. He also worked as a legal specialist in the Legal Department of Česká konsolidační agentura (Czech Consolidation Agency) and in 2005, became a director of this department.profil

19 February 2008 Jan Vlášek joins the team

In March 2008 Mgr. Jan Vlášek joined the team of junior lawyers of our office. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. Mgr. Vlášek specializes in commercial law, civil law and corporate law.profil

8 February 2008 Other language versions

Shortly after the introduction of the new web pages, these shall be presented in four foreign language versions – in English, French, German and newly, compare to the old web pages, also in Russian.

8 February 2008 Brand new web pages

Since February 2008 the office CÍSAŘ, ČEŠKA, SMUTNÝ a spol. has had new web pages corresponding with the latest trends and demands. Compare to the original presentation, the new web pages now contain more practical information useful for the clients. In the course of spring 2008 the pages shall be further expanded to provide more professional information and we plan to add some more products to improve the communication between the office and its clients and towards the public.

30 January 2008 Amendments of "marketing laws"

On 30 January 2008 Václav Klaus, the Czech president, signed the laws which in compliance with the European stipulation amend the Consumer Protection Act, the Commercial Code and The Act on Regulation of Advertising.. The new amendment introduces new terms and expressions such as „unfair commercial practices " and "black list“ contained in the Consumer Protection Act or „prohibition of a so-called inviting advertising“. The law will become effective aftere it was published in the Collection of Laws which can be expected soon.
